hotel villa belvedere apartments

italy - 2007/2012
Hotel Villa Belvedere apartments were originally a residential detached house, composed by four
floors and the ground-level.
Were carried out structural and architectural renovations, to get an interior layout fit for new function.
At each floor there is a little apartment and each apartment is endowed with an amazing view of Taormina bay.
In the reallocation of Villa Belvedere Apartments in Taormina and in its interior design we bore in mind the
contextualisation of apartment, the wonderful view, the place and its Mediterranean taste.
We imagined open, light, bright and sunny spaces where Mediterranean atmosphere takes part in inside atmosphere
of the rooms.
Apartments were completely and especially designed and produced.
We used simple and contemporary lines; high-tone and not-decorated materials.
Succession of vacant and full place and intersection of lines and faces give a sober and tasteful look to apartments.
We wonted to devise a lively and relaxing place, a homely and dynamic space.
The main colour of the furniture is white that in contrast with black walnut designs and determines the impact of
space.
While white colour lends a fresh and clean back black walnut and fabrics get comfort and balance across.
Apartments are designed to enable relax and quiet. They are composed of a single, big, aired and bright space.
Living area is near french window from which you can access the terrace and you can admire the outlook.
Sleeping areas is on a platform, so it doesn’t seem backward and built in living area; platform divides the space
in two functional areas.
The apartments are equipped with wardrobes, drawers and shelves so as to make for a comfortable stay for extended
periods.
